During day trips, visit a village of your interest. Visit traditional homes, learn local customs, walk through farms and talk with village residents. Many cultural tours visit coffee and banana farms on the slopes of Mounts Meru and Kilimanjaro, cities outskates and Isles mainly Stonetown and Mayotte. Half day hikes are available on most day trips, making the cultural tour an ideal acclimatization day for Kilimanjaro or Meru. Day trips are available that visit the following tribes: Waarusha, Wameru, Wachagga and Wamaasai.
